Russia Banned From Olympics 2024. Athletes from russia and belarus have been banned from competing as countries in the 2024 paris olympics. Athletes from both countries were banned following russia's invasion of ukraine in february 2022.

The teams from russia and belarus will not receive formal invitations to participate in next year’s olympic games in paris because of the two countries’. Instead, their athletes will compete as neutral.
